Debt Review Process

Step 1
To qualify for Debt Review one must be over-indebted. To determine whether you are over-indebted your monthly expenses must exceed your monthly income. If applicable proceed to “Step 2”

Complete the online information sheet under Contact Us
Provide full particulars of your credit providers.

Step 3
We inform all your Credit Providers as well as the Credit Bureaus that you are under Debt Review. Your Credit Providers will provide us with a certificate of balance in respect of your account.

Step 4
After receiving all the outstanding balances from your Credit Providers we will restructure your payment plan and negotiate with your Credit Provider where necessary.
There after your new restructured payment plan will be sent to all your Credit Providers which will take effect once your Credit Providers has accepted the payment plan.
Your restructured payment plan will reduce your monthly debt repayments to an affordable amount, leaving you with sufficient money for living expenses.

Step 5
We instruct our attorneys to apply at court to make your restructured payment plan an order of court. This is not for your cost – it form part of your payment plan.
You don’t have to appear in court.

Finally
The process is now complete and you only need to ensure that your monthly payments are made timeously in order to prevent Credit Providers from taking further legal action against you.
